Description

Opened in 1894, today it is known as the most beautiful, most attractive and best furnished lighthouse on the Polish coast and one of the most beautiful lighthouses in Europe. As legend has it, it is the twin sister of the most beautiful American lighthouse in Cleveland, Ohio. From the beginning, the top has had a "time ball" which allowed for precise setting of marine chronometers. You can view the landscapes as far as Hel, the Westerplatte and the Wisłoujście Fortress from the lighthouse and inside you can see a marvellous exhibition of the Canadian lighthouses.
