Description

Gdańsk Shakespeare Theater - is an artistic institution founded jointly by the Pomeranian Voivodeship, the Municipality of Gdańsk and the Theatrum Gedanense Foundation. It conducts extensive cultural and educational activities.

The aim of the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theater is to present and disseminate theater culture, theater education for children, youth and teachers, and the creation of artistic activities. Every year, the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theater, together with the Foundation, organizes the international Shakespeare Festival in Gdańsk.
